Isn't it common practice for the WR to look over to the side judge to confirm that he is on sides?

Andy Reid said that usually gets you warning.

Only if you actually, you know, look toward him. Maybe the line judge should have tapped him on the shoulder.

No, if you are slightly offsides.

If they're looking at the Side Judge they are way offsides...Side Judge and Field Judge are deep sideline officials working with the Back Judge in the deep center of the field. They should be asking the Down Judge (used to be Head Linesman but females now work that position so it's Down Judge) and Line Judge. I may have to go back and look though...if it was one of the female officials who made this call they may have felt that he should have know what he was doing wrong. Or maybe he did ask and she said, "Nothing..."

Reid is wrong. It's been called a dozen times now this year.

It's what you get with Kadarious Toney. He helped win a Super Bowl for you.

Josh Allen at anywhere from 20 to 25 to 1 for MVP seems like decent value this late in the season, esp with h2h matchups vs Dak/Tua next weekend hosting Cowgirls in Buffalo and then the last game of the season Bills@Miami:

Fields runs the table, maybe an outside shot? Fields was top 10*** in MVP voting in 2021:

***tied for 9th with 300 other players who got 1 vote or 1 voting point each

Mahomes has to be frustrated more by the production he's getting from his skill players. This offense is struggling to score 20 points now. They have a bunch of bottom of the roster WR's playing and teams are blanketing Kelce. Yesterday was probably more of a boiling point that their offense is regressing and they are now suddenly only up 1 game on Denver in the AFC West. This is getting interesting.

He can cry all he wants but he just had to be (at the time) the highest paid QB in football. That's why they lost Hill. Brady took less in his prime so the Patriots could sign other players.

Losing Hill was big, but they won a Super Bowl without him. At the same time, it's going to be difficult to win the current group of WR's. There is a middle ground here.

Is he turning into Aaron Rodgers?

fields has no chance. he would have to run the table and also be clearly the whole reason for it.

Even July scored off Mahomes and Reid with a virtually not-awful column

Deadspin's gone beyond woke. Reaching to try to paint Ryan Tannehill as racist and it looks like they got a cease and desist and probably a lawsuit threat from a fan at a Chiefs game. Not surprising that 2021-2022 Ryan Tannehill, coming off 3 consecutive seasons QBing the Titans to the playoffs and even the #1 seed that year, was non-chuffed about the Titans drafting a potential replacement a tinge more than 2023-2024 Tannehill, and not by much. Even Deadspin's own article about Tannehill's relationship with Levis says that Tannehill's none too pleased about Levis taking his job either.

Even if it were the case that 2023 Tannehill were more solicitous of Levis it probably had more to do with Tannehill seeing the writing on the wall and realizing that if he wants to continue to draw an NFL paycheck he'll have to go the Andy Dalton/Alex Smith/Crash Davis route, give up being QB1 and transition to an itinerant vet backup role brought in to coach up the new guy.

July's right. They can't go away fast enough IMO.

They’re kind of fun to watch, no? That play what caused all this controversy was objectively awesome.

I’m in no hurry to get rid of the best coach/QB combo in football so we can get more Josh Dobbs in our lives.

Not long ago, this was the only annoying thing about Mahomes.
