Everyone likes puppies more than fetuses.

Working dogs in particular. I remember calling and talking to a few breeders 20 years ago or so about herding dogs and them just casually mentioning disposing of pups that didn't have the instinct to be good workers.Those breeders weren't for me. Hunters can be pretty bad too, the amount of pointers that show up in shelters for being failed hunters is pretty crazy. Those are the lucky ones. I'be had to put down injured livestock but can't say I ever shot a goat or anything for being an asshole, even the ones that took runs at me.

I don't think she is an idiot. She's not a politician. She's a decision maker who is practical. My grandfather had a farm in North Judson. He would tell you that there were not any "pets" on his farm. I could tell you several stories about my grandpa and my Dad and my uncles and aunts growing up and suffice it to say that city folk and liberals just don't understand rural folks and their view of things. A dog on the farm, was there for protection of equipment and people not a pet. Sometimes a dog is just born bad for any number of reasons. This dog, was born bad, and killed chickens apparently and they were the neighbors chickens. The dog also bit her and other people.

So she put the dog down with a bullet. Take a vote with Biden's secret service. You think that these people really want to guard Demented Joe with THEIR LIFE, when that stupid German Shepherd bit agents something like over 20 damned times? Joe as he always does took the POLITICAL WAY OUT and was mocked for what he didn't do. Personally I would have put Commander down if that fucking dog bit me. By the way, people take their pets down for a lot of reason. what difference does it make if it is a bullet or a syringe. Many times it is aged or medical condition determined and both are humane ways of doing it. DEAD IS DEAD WITH HOPEFULLY A MINIMUM OF PAIN.

Our outfit had three dogs, two monkeys and two large boa constrictors in Nam. You had to have those dogs pretty well protected or they would disappear when the locals were around. Puppies were considered a delicacy there especially a GI fed puppy.

I loved my dogs. If my dog was a biter, my dad would put the dog down. I would have done the same. It simply is doing the right thing for taking care of something that can damage a human being who doesn't deserve it. Not all animals are good. Probably more so than people though.
