As a father of two special needs children, I read stories like this and want to cry. I hope and pray my children will be able to be self sufficient. Part of the everyday struggle towards that goal are the teachers we have entrusted our children. They have our children for 1/3 of the time they are awake. Their impact cannot be underestimated. So when a teacher abuses that position, it is awful.
When I hear of any teacher that does these things, I feel cold. It's a terrifying thought.
