I agree and I have a young kid. I have had to hide status updates from a person because of this. Your kid is coloring, not curing cancer let's not celebrate every mundane achivement. Once a day should be enough, and really is too much.

I gotta admit. I have been guilty earlier this year of posting bad personal crap, venting if you will.......bitchbook....bad.
Recently, I've just tried to put up interesting or funny stuff up. Or repost stories.
Clever kids. It won't last. Mac finally got on twitter so I'm sure these parents will catch on figure out a way to follow there kids.

facebook (for most part now)= old high school friends that want to reunite and get together
twitter= cool kids, celebrities, everyone important with a thought
