Fall is the best season

However, the proliferation of pumpkin flavored drinks, donuts, pastries, cookies, etc. needs to stop

First of all, the only time anyone ever eats pumpkin pie is at Thanksgiving. THAT'S BECAUSE IT SUCKS
you stomach eating it once a year and move on

Pumpkin is not a great flavor. And now this time of year it is everywhere. i saw a 'limited edition pumpkin spice' Thomas English Muffins in the store the other day. that is clearly going way too far

Pumpkin isn't the flavor itself. It's just a medium for a delightful mix of allspice, ginger, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, anise, and more. If you don't like that, well, go fuck yourself, as far as I'm concerned. Now if you'll excuse me, it's time for my morning chai.

NOTHING IS A VEHICLE FOR SOMETHING ELSE

it is what it is.
it's not allspice, ginger, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, anise and more pie.
it's pumpkin pie
why not just buy a bottle of pumpkin pie spice and freebase it

Pumpkin pie, pumpkin donuts, Pumpkin spice philly cream cheese.

Bagels, you and I need to sit down and have tete a tete regarding your outrageous aversion to such delicious foods.

Will bagel have to wear a tux?

And bagels is 100% correct with this nomination and mayo

pumpkin is at least one but most likely several notches below lemon on the flavoring heirarchy

You also just made the list Kirkwood.

Pumpkin beers are solid.

Bagels should have just stuck with hating on Mayo.

Interesting point..you could almost listen to Country music in that scenario RPB...Almost.

Reggae music is pretty damn boring to me.

Spoke to a commercial pumpkin grower (for canning) one time. Said they weren't really pumpkins, but a kind of squash.

Yeah, they're fine in small doses. I definitely wouldn't want to drink them year round, but I don't mind grabbing one on tap if I'm out during this time of the year. Once they go away for the season, I'm not really sad about it, but they're not bad.

Same here. Paid $12 for mine. Worth every penny. Might offer 'em $20 tomorrow if they agree to throw in a miniature pumpkin.

But I'm offered a fun trip to john's in Winfield for "skunky beer".

Got it.
