Out here things froze up right after Christmas. This has been our first thaw of some water tanks. That’s not normal.

We’re better than halfway thru January without a significant winter snowfall in the area yet and not really cold . 6 more weeks and it’s March . This has been a cakewalk of a winter so far .

We made it. It wasn't too bad either. That probably means the next 10 months will be terrible though. At least we get to have an average donut today to celebrate.

All things considered, January was a cakewalk. Essentially the past ~35 days have been a cool, cloudy autumn.

February is starting out cold, but once we get past Friday the following 10 days or so temps trend at or above average.

We're long overdue for a big snow which I wouldn't mind at this point.
