I liked the Budweiser puppy commercial.

Thought the Dylan commercial was probably one of the top 5 of the evening. The Butterfinger commercial was
pretty good. The Bud Light one where they take that guy in the limo into those ridiculous situations was not too
bad. Also the Doberman - Chihuahua one was kinda funny. Overall I have to agree with you though. A lot of
wasted money there by a lot of companies.

Check something a little more current. That's 4 months old. The company and stock has rebounded nicely.

They are trying to transform the image to a modern store. No better way than to have the most talked about commerical of the Super Bowl.

The reality is that these commercials are well worth the money. As lame as they are, having your product seen by that many people is just extremely valuable. Hence the price.

I didn't get to watch many of them as my dickhead BIL decided that he would be a passive aggressive douche and flip to the hockey channel during timeouts. Even my wife called him out on it.

I agree that they can be a great investment. It just seems that in the past few years, these commercials are just turning into celebrity cameos. It takes creativity to make an idea from scratch that can captivate the county and get people talking about your product. I don't think rounding up a bunch of celebrities to put in your commericial is all that creative, but it seems that's what 90% of these super bowl commericals are now.

The Bob Dylan one really killed me too. He would be the last person I would think would go for something like this.

I'd have to agree. He'll do seemingly anything for some cash. I was surprised that he would do a car
commercial but I think it was more about the message that Chrysler was trying to purvey that made me
look at it and think it made a little sense to have him delivering the dialogue.

Yes. This isn't even some died in the wool type of hockey fan. He didn't grow up with the sport as he is from Dayton and I have never seen him skate. I really think he became a fan about 2010 and now he is Mr. Hockey. It was pure dickhead behavior.

There are some people who dig their heels in when they are shown to be wrong even when they know they are wrong...of course no one on this board is like that.

I hated the Bud light one. Thought it was stupid. Didn't really like the Dylan one either. I liked the Coke ad, but in general the commercials were pretty bad IMO.

i thought the radio shack one was well done, they acknowledge what the general public currently thinks of radioshack (old, outdated) and tell you the viewer that they are revamping their stores to a more modern tech store... a good idea if you ask me but i have no clue how they fully change the common perception.

And how will they be able to compete with the Amazon's, TigerDirect's, and Newegg's of the world?
