The thing I'm most amazed about is how little the people commenting actually know about Islam. The concepts of Dar al Islam and Dar al Harb are real things. They're not just something invented by paranoid nutjobs to disparage a major religion. Taqiyya is an Islamic concept not some creation of Western "haters".

They paid for the permits for whatever type of event it was. I doubt it was a religious only event considering he only visited 1 booth. Streets are closed down all the time for events. They didn't trample on the rights of anyone. It was open to the public and they escorted a guy out that was causing problems. It appears he was there to harass a particular vendor and they probably answered all his questions. Security at events all around the country would do the same.

It was an Arab/Islamic Festival. Are you really arguing this? Streets are closed down for events all the time, yes. And it's often controversial. It becomes especially so when the act of closing a public street is combined with limiting the Constitutionally guaranteed right to free speech.
