Sort of an interesting scenario really. For several years now the Cubs have distanced themselves from Sosa....with Ricketts saying something like "Sammy has to do certain things before he's welcomed back". So you know the Cubs will wrap themselves up in this "Earnie Memorial" and Ricketts will be right there for ya. It would be interesting to some degree if Sammy showed up to this "event" as he has not been invited to other Cub events.

Then again...maybe not.
