Losing more people Rod? Ya know, the really good people running your digital ads that are really keeping the place afloat and nice touch on padding those ONLINE STATS for 'listeners" that tune in to either station....heard enough last night about it to think it would be too hard to say someone listening to WBBM is also listening to WSCR....Just as someone looking for the WBBM online site is also using the WSCR online site.

Someone who got a better gig that I know, who told me 3 others left and that person was doing all 3 jobs. That person said the website stuff is not well organized.

Of course I think any of us that have ever tried to look at anything for the WSCR realized that awhile ago.

Bottom line, the Cheap Act that he plays on the radio "talent" doesnt go well with the kids getting better offers from better companies. Rod has lost 4 of them in the last 3 months now. Thats fine management.

Chicago-based CBS Radio Group salesman: "We're the all-stars. You could put baboons on our stations & we'd still max out."

I have known a few of these sales guys and I think we have EX one here!

They think they make a station, they create the whole thing.....

The guy who did the "BOYS DAY OUT" with M&H at the track, talking to him, you would think he invented the concept of the remote and without him the station would go away.

Yes, someone needs to go out and sell the product, I understand that....but the product sells itself once you get there.

isn't irrational exuberance and a generally inflated sense-of-self par for the course for good salesmen?

Never said it wasn't, but I am glad you stated "generally inflated sense-of-self" as the ex radio sales guy here might want to respond to you calling him that.
