I find it offensive they have a kid with Cerebral Palsy as a team mascot sitting next to their bench.

The CBS reporter stated on the TV timeout that he gives the team inspiration. Hey,let's have the other 63 teams go find a less fortunate individual and prop them up to even the field.

I can see your point with this. It can seem disingenous at times, like when they have a kid run for a touchdown when no one tries to tackle him etc. For the record, I'm all for it, but can see how some can interpret it in a different way.
