Know what?
Fuck you.
Tell me silence. You gotta be bleeping me.
Guess what, muffin? Men are superior drivers. It's because women cannot see more than 25 feet in front of their vehicles. It's true. It's science.

Overall, men are far superior drivers. much more aware of surroundings.

I will also add the Mother Drivers in SUV/Minivans.....which is a huge %, they think they are in their living room on wheels...and I am related too and friends with many of them. The reason they dont get in that many accidents is due to the size of the vehicle that others swerve to avoid, while they are switching back and forth between text messages and opening juice boxes while driving.

After living many of these near death moments with sisters and friends, I call them out and they are oblivious to it. They think they are great drivers....of which the guy in the other lane who had to pull over and stop while you swerved 3 feet into his lane wouldnt agree!

Synopsis: In a commercial that seems like it’s been running continuously for the last seven years, a bitingly sarcastic young woman channels Allstate’s baritone-voiced pitchman, Dennis Haysbert, to refute her boyfriend’s contention that men are better drivers than women, based solely on the fact that she, representing less than .000000001% of all female motorists, happened to receive a “safe driving bonus check” from a lousy insurance company that will deny knowing her three times before the cock crows if she ever tries to file a claim.

I never text or answer the phone while driving. I don't want my kids doing it when they get older.

Then you're probably swerving uncontrollably while you check your face in a mirror that literally locks out 90% of the view thru the windshield as you knock unsuspecting motorcycles off the road and later claim you were hit and run as you observe the results of paint migration on your fenders.

Which gender are better drivers is perhaps endlessly debatable. What I can say is that, in my little world, tickets/accidents aside, everyone from 30-67 - male or female - start from the same point when rating them as drivers ... down to 25 if they're married.

That said .... something I came across (gross) years ago was someone purporting that the main difference between the genders' driving prowess was linked, to some degree, to how they viewed driving a vehicle.

Women, generally speaking, tended to view it as a machine that needed to be controlled, something entirely separate from themselves ... e.g., "I have to make this car turn left now".

Men, generally speaking, tended to view the vehicle as a direct extension of themselves, rather than as something separate from themselves ... e.g., "I gotta make a left now".

What was behind those theories I could not say ... might be more of a Psycory sort of question, maybe?

That all said ... fuck Allstate commercials in general ... so many of them originate from an entirely false premise that it's infuriating.

The whole problem is caused by the weak pimp hand of the guy.

His response should have been something along the lines of, "while your car has not been damaged have you ever looked out the rear view mirror at the wake of carnage caused by your driving?"

Why, though? It's a great song. It's like Prince circa Dirty Mind, if Prince could have written a song about Facebook at the time.

1) the horns

2) first time i saw it was the music video, and that whole aesthetic where everyone is identical except her with the giant something about mary hair... she's the only chick allowed makeup. hell you know that whole thing where everybody is working and she's just kind of standing there and commenting? now granted i'm inherently on thin ice here in a traditional sense (cuz obviously what i actually do up to 24hrs/day doesn't count as i'm perpetually reminded) but it just hit me the wrong way when i saw it. *shrug* it ain't like i exactly like myself 24/7/365 either =D

i will meet you halfway CH and say that she's much much better than grimes.

I'm at an intersection today. the car in front of me is in the middle of the intersection, I'm back at the light and there is 5 seconds before the light changes. I was inching forward then stopped because the light changed. The guy be hind me honks like a maniac. He goes around me almost gets t'd because he is running the red light. He gets honked at because he is in the middle of the intersection and women are the bad drivers? Women don't pay attention and men are too impatient.

Quite sure the stats would support men in fewer accidents....but in larger accidents.

Probably because some broad is nagging at them from the passenger seat and won't shut the hell up.

Yeah. I'd bet women are in fender benders, men are in the bigger accidents.
