Letting this shit out just in time for the Cavs series is just bad. Do they actually want the Bulls to lose so they can get rid of Thibs? Even if this is likely the best shot this team will have at the title in a long time?

DO NOT FIRE THIBS. YOU WILL LOSE THE WHOLE TEAM AND 90% OF YOUR FANS

remember what happened to the bears when lovie was canned. and he was just an average coach.

Zombie Bulls fans are worse than Cub fans. They just keep going to games no matter what.

people will still go to see the BULLS, but everyone will start hating paxson and run him out of town.

Paxson won't be gone unless the Chairman decides. He's in the Jerry Loyalty Program.

I still hold out hope for JR to swoop in and broker a peace like he did with KW and Ozzie.

Why does JR organizations seem to foster discontent between coaches and management?

Too much ego from the GM, thinking he deserves more credit for assembling the team when the coach gets all the spotlight.

I think JR teams are a blessing and a curse in that regard. He lets them do what they want and is loyal. But he does not get in between these two for instance until it is too late.

however, gm doesn't receive any criticism for da bool quickly approaching no finals appearances in 20 years.

And only avoiding a trade that sends Niko and Butler to the T-Wolves for Kevin Love because the Cavs wanted Love as well.

I have mixed feelings on the subject. I think Thibs is a very good coach in many areas. But I hate how his offense involves so much scoring from the point guard position. Whether it's Rose, or any number of players who have been in and out of the lineup as a back-up or replacement when he has been injured. I like the position to involve running a real offense and the PG to be more of a distributor, rather than generating points himself so often. Plus, in spite of having a deeper team this year, he still refuses to use guys like Mirotic, who should be getting 20-25 minutes a game and stays loyal to guys like Hinrich and Noah, who are not playing well. I can see some of the criticism being valid. As long as they get another good coach, I'm not sure it would be a disaster to make the move and if they can get a draft pick for him to boot.....okay.
