I know I've said this before but it bears repeating. There is minimal attendance and the lines to get into these games are still ridiculous. I showed up in the bottom of the first last night and the lines were still snaking around the park.

They're constantly whining about attendance and then they abuse the people who actually come. I guarantee I'll go to less games next season. I don't like standing in lines. Especially when there is no need for it.

Part of the problem is the metal detectors. They've effectively cut down the number of gates. I'm sure the Sox would say this is an MLB directive, but there are no detectors at Wrigley and I was just watching a game in Texas and they showed people going in- no metal detectors. Maybe it's because Sox Park is in Chiraq.

The next time my ticket rep calls and begs me to buy more he's gonna get a fuckin' earful about these goddamn ridiculous lines.

That's almost what it's like. And now you have the old off duty cops working the gates playing grab-ass with the cute young chicks in their short shorts which just slows shit down more.

Maybe it's just an AL thing. Maybe the DH leads to more violence amongst the fandom.

I do not recall a terrorist threat or even a gang related shootout at a MLB game ever.

I went to Coors this past Monday and they have them. They also had them at Miller Park when I went earlier this season. I got through the line in 4/5 minutes at Coors and 2 or so at Miller.

I would guess the lease only supplies X numbers of people...anything else the Sox would need to pay for.

But how long has the operation overall at the Cell been running on near minimal, then when they get any sizeable crowd, everything is overwhelmed? The reason not 1 person in that organization knows about it is because they all drive down 35th into a parking lot right in front of home plate and then head up to the skyboxes...except Kenny, who needs to trun down some boom boxes first....

Speaking of Kenny....how is that attendance problem he is working on going?

Looked at the process a little at Fenway on Boston Marathon day. They have them but the lines looked like they moved OK.

Not when they have a bunch of dough invested in the Belmont Stakes.
