Not saying rain by itself is a huge deal, but this year is shaping up to be like 2011 where there was a tornado, hail, or downpours seemingly every other day. Let's hope not.

Again, it is Spring. March, April, and early May are usually when we see these 'all day rains' like we have over the last couple of weeks. The average rainfall tends to be higher in May and June because Thunderstorms can drop 2-3" of rain in a matter of a couple hours.

That said, this is annoying. My dog hates the rain and storms, and our backyard is a giant, poorly graded mudpit.

I need to remember to pick up an air filter and spark plug for the lawn mower. The grass will need to be cut very soon.

This area needs plenty of rainfall.
As I understand it we're still not fully recovered form that 2012 drought.
Water is good.

The form drought was awesome. Anyone who wants more rain should build an ark and drown in it while buttfucking every last animal on it. That is all. Good day.

Well there's some unexpected advice. Glad I like dry weather.

About 8 hours so far of non stop rain in the Chicago area with no end in site. There is going to be some major flooding.
