Last night I missed the 1st 3 innings of the WS. I read online Escobar hit a 1st pitch lead-off inside the park home run.

Cool, I have the MLB At-Bat app. I'll just open up the app and check out the highlight.

Click on "videos" for the game and the only clip is the national anthem being sung. This was the after the 3rd inning was over....

I tried to get involved in this World Series dealio but MLB doesn't care. Since they don't care I don't either. Didn't end up watching any of the game. Caught the highlights this morning instead.

Great job MLB!

I'm guessing that was contractual with FOX.

Douchebag should go to MLB for delaying game like five minutes while FOX figured out their technical problems. Harvey's standing around there tightening up his sore triceps. I'd a been pissed if I were METS.

yeah the international feed was fine and you had vaspergian(sp) and smoltz, which i think just about everyone would agree is a better broadcast than buck and..... shit i didnt even notice who the fuck is with buck nowadays.... harold reynolds?

that was a weird delay and i guess it had something to do with google fiber going out in/around KC? but still anything that gets me less buck is a-ok in my book! god i'm sick of that guy being fox's #1 voice for everything.... dude "presides" over the game, especially on his weekly FOX NFL GAME OF THE WEEK broadcasts when it's like "ok you've heard everyone talking about the big NFL stories of the week, now it's time for me to come in and tell you what it is!"

fuck off buck.... even if it was a work artie lange had some good points!

Do you know what the delay was besides the Fox issues?

it was irrelevant to why the game was delayed.

so you believe the managers just happened to give the OK the very second that FOX was able to patch in another video feed? or is it more likely Fox said WAIT! until we get this shit figured out?

I am thinking they delayed until they could figure out the possible replay situations, also I think it was reported that one team had it at one point and time and the other team didn't. Yes they had to take the time to get it sorted out.

either way it is ridiculous to hold up the game for something so trivial. After about one minute somebody at MLB should have said, lets go, we can't keep the players standing around. Especially the star Mets pitcher who already has arm problems.
