this makes me very happy... :)

Although the group is said to be on a break, bassist Pete Wentz revealed through a social networking site that he won't be having an association with Fall Out Boy anymore and that the band is likely finished.

Through his Twitter account, Wentz engaged in a conversation with fans about Fall Out Boy and revealed his thoughts on the band's status.

"Don't you get it? A hiatus is forever until you get lonely or old. I don't plan on either," he wrote. "I can't imagine playing in FOB again. Something would have to change in my head or my heart ... not my wallet."

Wentz went on about the group's situation and stated they may continue on without him and that he takes blame for the break-up. After posting a few odd posts on his blog about the apparent hiatus, the bassist went on to release the following statements discussing his opinions on the matter.

"I don't know the future of Fall Out Boy. It's embarrassing to say one thing and then have the future dictate another. As far as I know Fall Out Boy is on break (no one wants to say the 'H' word,)" he wrote. "As much as I don't have a solo project, I also can't predict that I'd ever play in Fall Out Boy again, not due to personal relationships as much as (that as) a band we grew apart"

They were acceptable. "This Ain't a Scene (It's an Arms Race)" was an exceptionally catchy song, it had a good video. Most importantly though, everyone likes playing it in Rock Band, so they must be ok.

they had some good songs...I just hate Pete Wentz. He is everything that is wrong about Chicago rock music.

I can sort of appreciate the talents of the singer, guitar player, and drummer, I'm not sure Pete Wentz was ever actually playing bass
in this band. He can take his oh-so-clever 11 word song titles and fuck himself in the neck.

Did Fallout Boy have a falling out  Ok, I'll be going now

I never liked them either, and couldn't name one song, even if I heard it right now.

AFAIK, Wentz was responsible for pretty much everything but the actual instrumentation.
Meaning composition and performance. Pretty sure he wrote the terrible lyrics, came up
with the obnoxious song titles, probably directed the videos too.
He just can't play any instruments.

We're falling apart to half time

And these are the lives you love to lead
Dance, this is the way they'd love
If they knew how misery loved me

Maybe they will suck far less now that the emo douche bounching around the stage writing the bad lyrics is gone. The only thing I ever liked from them was some acoustic stuff from a really old live show at some house party.

I liked the lyrics...I liked the rediculous titles that had nothing to do with what the song was about...

...but I agree...Wentz is a huge douche...

Thriller is actually a fucking good song.
The only FOB tune I ever went out of my way to listen to.

Poor quality video.

This is why I call him an emo douche

Today emo is commonly tied to both music and fashion as well as the emo subculture.[98] Usually among teens, the term "emo" is stereotyped with wearing skinny jeans, sometimes in bright colors, and tight t-shirts (usually short-sleeved) which often bear the names of emo bands. Studded belts and black wristbands are common accessories in emo fashion. Black Converse sneakers and skate shoes, such as Vans, are popularly worn among people of the emo fashion. Some males also wear thick, black horn-rimmed glasses.[99][100][101]

The emo fashion is also recognized for its hairstyles. Popular looks include long side-swept bangs, sometimes covering one or both eyes. Also popular is hair that is straightened and dyed black. Bright colors, such as blue, pink, red, or bleached blond, are also typical as highlights in emo hairstyles. Short, choppy layers of hair are also common. This fashion has at times been characterized as a fad.[102] In the early 2000s, emo fashion was associated with a clean cut look[103] but as the style spread to younger teenagers, the style has become darker, with long bangs and emphasis on the color black replacing sweater vests.
