Hi-Tek is slept on. One of the best producers in the game. One of my favorite beats of all time is Respiration. That sht is a materpiece imo

I'll have to check that Hi-Tek album out tho

Bought this one when I was in high school thinking it was the better known
Greatest Hits album. Turned out that this one is just as good with some
lesser known songs that I have grown to really like.

Ya, check that out Mr. Hernandez, think you'll like it.Respiration is the shit, love that song. I'm all about Hi-Tek and Mos, could listen to their music all day, just plug the Ipod in on a saturday morning put the playlist on and that's a good start to my day.

Warning: that first Hi-Tek album is really really good- right there with you guys. But the 2nd and 3rd ones are pretty bad. There's 2-3 tracks on each one that are good but compared to the first one where pretty much every song is good, it's a letdown.

Ahhh yes, one of my favs.....i love this verse

Funny how shit come together sometimes [ya dig]
One moment you frequent the booty clubs &
the next four years you & somebody's daughter
raisin' y'all own young'n now that's a beautiful thang
that's if you're on top of your game
and man enough to handle real life situations [that is]
Can't gamble feeding baby on that dope money
might not always be sufficient but the
United Parcel Service & the people at the Post Office
didn't call you back because you had cloudy piss
So now you back in the trap just that, trapped
Go on and marinate on that for a minute

EDIT: and i could listen to Liberation over and over...probably my fav song on that CD, but its sooooo hard to decide because that was one of the best albums.

yessir! the horns hit just right. that joint is a straight up throwback to the 70's. My favs on the album are The Art of Storytellin pt 1 and Liberation. The album was well deserving of its 5 mic status imo
