When I was the young kid in the first part of that song it was all good but now im getting to be the old guy at the end. We sang that at our senior year awards/talent whatever thing as a class. "Keep Me In Your Heat" - Warren Zevon. The fact that he wrote it knowing he was dying really make the lyrics hit home. "Memories" by Maroon 5 is a modern one that choked me up when I heard it. |

In our case it was a song picked by the class, I was no involved because I cared not and really wasn't interested in being there at all but whatever. Apparently some kids at the school had some parental issues to deal with. This should come as no surprise. I am a little stunned the faculty person or persons in charge didn't nix it. |

Landslide seems like a sad song. I'm not even sure what its about but Nicks' vocal is so emotive it seems like a sad one to me. The only songs that make me sad are ones that take me back and remind me of friends I lost. There are a couple of songs that if they come on I have to turn it off and they aren't sad songs at all. |
