Should I listen now or wait for the whole album? I feel inclined to wait. I just don't know how long I can wait. This is like my Marshmallow Experiment.

Have a listen or three--sounds great!

I was tripping balls at lolla-2 and don't remember much except laughing for ten hours straight and being 15 feet away from Eddie Vedder. I may need to download your memories at some point, if you have any.

That was cool that Vedder hung around with Jack McDowell, but given the Cubs alliance . . . man, I can't listen to the band any longer. Same with the Smashing Pumpkins. Vedder's soundtrack for Into the Wild was excellent, however.

So anyway, Radiohead.

Another track came out, but the full album is out Sunday, so I shall wait.

Judging by this recent promotional photo, Thom Yorke is dying:

Nope, I gave in, and I'm glad I did, that was gorgeous.

When did Jonny Greenwood turn into Richard Ramirez?

Like both songs.

I didn't think they could make an album this good again. This is gorgeous.

Yeah, this is terrific.

I wasn't sure about "True Love Waits" at first. Then I realized it's a mirror of "How I Made My Millions," the old OK Computer B-side where Thom is playing a busted-up old piano while his girlfriend is unpacking groceries and making dinner. Said girlfriend just left him after 23 years. I don't think anything is coincidental in Radioheadland.

I've probably listened to "Glass Eyes" fifty times this week.

First listen I enjoyed it. It is a really rich album. I rarely have the chance to over indulge on an album but this is one I did for sure.

Revisiting this for the first time in a little while. Finally played it on my record player instead of digitally. Really sounds beautiful. Everything sounds so much better on vinyl, it just does.

Thom Yorke's ex-girlfriend died on Sunday. "True Love Waits" sounds sadder than ever now.

Listened to this last night. Still sounds amazing. I think this is one that will definetly age well.

"Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor Rich Man Poor Man Beggar Man Thief" is the best song off the album, which is surprising, because you'd think it's just a tossoff compared to the songs we know they've been working on for years and years like "Burn the Witch," "Identikit," and "Present Tense." Something about the way the electronics, jazz rhythm section, and string arrangements come together is just so cool. It really sums up the whole record.

Oh, and the deluxe version with "Ill Wind, "Spectre," and slightly improved cover art is nice:
