This is one of my best friend's band - he does everything in his living room in an Austin, Texas 1 bedroom apartment.

I like it.

I don't know shit about producing/mixing a record but it sounds like her vocals need to be turned up a little. Maybe it's just me. She has a unique voice but you can't really hear it very well.

Yeah, I've had that conversation with him about the vocals. The thing is, she's in her early 20s, and we are in our early 40's.
She needs to be more confident.

That's a pretty good tune. Very reminiscent of a mostly forgotten Austin band from the 80s, the Reivers.
