my dad is from the upper peninsula of Michigan and we use to vacation there when I was a kid.

Song came out when I was kid. The imagery really freaked me out - like the monkeys in The Wizard of Oz.

I love this song. The guitar sound is a little over-produced. Bob Dylan said something to the effect of when you hear a Gordon Lightfoot song you wish it would last forever.
