Interesting. I don't really think the mainstream considers Jehovah's Witnesses a cult, perhaps just a somewhat unorthodox spin on Christianity, kind of in the same vein as Mormons. Do you consider all religions to be cults?

No sir. Mormonism and Scientology though are by definition as is Jehovah's Witnesses. JW is 100% a cult though trust me I didn't think so when it was in but there is no doubt that it is. Anytime you isolate yourself from society especially family it is one aspect of a cult. I.e. Not a single family member showed up to my wedding, hell only one of them even had decency enough to rsvp a no. Me leaving is the greatest sin in their eyes and worse than murder, murder can be forgiven but questioning the organization is unforgivable. I have a friend who was a very high ranking scientologist. Plenty of triggers for both in watching going clear.

I actually retract I do think all religions are cults but I also think Apple fanatics are also a cult. Those are simply harmless cults. The high suicide rate of JW's is alarming though, that isn't something lutherans, Catholics or apple users have as a symptom. I have spent lots of time counseling people and it is terrible. Anyway I could go on and on but this thread isn't for that.

Just listened to the anniversary release of Black Love yesterday. Have to agree although I loved them from jump.
