There's only a handful of records from this decade that would make it into a top 10 of any single year 00 to 09.

I was there sir, on the upper balcony right side. I thought it was great. Niko did look good and the exotic violin player and harmony vocalist fit well. I liked the song selection and my only complaint is the keyboards should've been louder. Mass Romantic sounded weak.

That's my girl Simi. She used to front a Chicago band named Suffrajett back in the mid 2000's.

I strongly disagree about Bejar. He is the John Lennon of the band. It seems like keeps Paul (A.C.) from getting too corny.

That's interesting, because my favorite Bejar song, "Kaputt," is pure '80s corn to me.

Cool song. He is a weird dude and I think his weirdness, angst, and out of the box ideas are a great contrast to the hit machine with a heart of a rock n' roller, ac newman.

Take for instance the difference from anything ACs done in style, sarcasm, and aggressiveness in the song A Very Modern Dance...

I just found she has a wiki page. She looks totally different in every picture on google images. She makes good use of that 'fro.

if you like new pornographers, give the naked and famous a try. their latest album, "simple forms", is their best and most consistent effort.

Thanks. I got simple forms but haven't had a chance to listen.

This song was really solid. At least until the vocals started.

I like his voice but can understand why you feel that way. He's a very creative songwriter either way.

Chuck is wise.

The weak-ass keyboards in Mass Romantic were a huge letdown in an otherwise ripping version. I so wanted to hear The Slow Descent into Alcoholism for an oncore.

Change the title of the thread to "Favorite Richard Marx songs" or maybe "Color Me Bad reunion". That might get him in here.
