Any ideas? Looking for something for my daughter. Don't think she wants my 500lb amp and speaker setup from college. In the future when CDs are cool again, how will the hipsters of the day do it? |

I have a huge pile of jazz & classical CDs my daughter would like to listen to. how do I make that work? she typically falls asleep listening to music so earbuds not an option. She's not an audiophile. I don't want to spend $1000 on a Hi-Fi. |

HM, I have a BLURAY player hooked up to my TV AND a regular old fashion (DVD not CD) player hooked directly to my soundbar. You can get a cheap cd player and soundbar for under 70 bucks I bet. |

Can't you just buy a little shelf system that comes with a CD player, a tuner/receiver and a couple of small speakers? They were really popular when I went to college 20 years ago and I am sure they are even smaller and sound much better these days. I feel your pain about the CDs. I have hundreds of them and don't have them downloaded at all. My wife's brand new car didn't even come with a CD player in it. |

is that blue tooth Jimmy? or wired? I don't think they even make wired stuff anymore. ------------------------ T-Bone/ DEP: I have continued to buy "boom boxes" but they all break after a year or so. Between my 2 kids we must have gone through 10 of them over the past 8-10 years. Stuff like this, they don't even make them anymore. Only crazy brand names like Jonkyo or Haji. |
