A new Radiohead video for a 20 year old unreleased song. Pretty good.

I liked it but I liked "Lift" better. (I guess that won't be formally released till tomorrow  ) It still feels like they're holding back, but at least it's a studio take after all these years.

I'm not much of a re-issue guy, but I will be getting this one.

I've been listening to OKNOTOK and so far the only thing I can really notice in the remaster beyond a general "garsh this sounds good" is that when the high-pitched fluttery Commodore beeps come in at the climax of "Let Down," the beeps keep coming in clear as a bell on the left channel during the "you know where you are when" part. It takes the song from a 10/10 to a 10.5/10. Seriously one of the best songs ever.

I wish "Lift" didn't have that weird false start in the beginning. That's such a Radiohead move -- everyone's been clamoring to hear this song for years and years, so they finally give it up on their super-deluxe reissue but not without taking a shit on it first. I agree that it didn't fit the album, but it would have been a fine B-side if they had issued one more single (surprisingly, "Let Down" never was). And it's a little slower and leaden than it should be, but it's still such a good song.

"Man of War" is pretty awesome, but I never got as attached to it as a lot of other people who watched Meeting People Is Easy did. I was more a "Big Ideas" fan, which sucked hard on In Rainbows without the Hammond B3 and glockenspiel that made it so cool in the first place.
