"Stop! Stop! Stop!" by the Hollies is particularly odious (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=to2cze58R5E.) Can't think of too many off the top of my head, but when square bands would venture into psychedelia, the results are usually bad. Sonny and Cher were packaged as hippies, but listen to the lyrics of "The Beat Goes On," it sounds like it was written by an old man with a nice lawn at gunpoint. |

I will agree with you however it gets very little airplay so the first time through up to the chorus hook and a bit farther isn't too bad if heard once a year or so. |
