Having a 9-year old daughter, I don't think my radio has any other channels than B96 or KISS FM.

That said, it doesn't get any worse of a beatdown in a music feud than this.

TS' last 2 songs so blow away anything KP has done, that its really not even close.

KP needs to retire. Its like when LL assassinated Canibus, but much, much worse.

Its over, Katy, time to get naked and make some money off your bod while you still can.

They are both hacks of the highest order.

Winner: neither.

I would volunteer to be part of the sandwich, though.

Doesn't the alt-right love Taylor Swift now because they think she's one of them? I suppose she is to the extent that she fails to radiate any sort of sexuality.

Musically, fellas, you have to admit that Taylor Swift is a genius.

She's also much, much more attractive now that she has aged a bit.

Swift looks like her snaptight muffmonster would grip a man's meatload like a ball python, and KP liooks like she'd be closer to a hotdog-down-hallway situation, only saved by her HPV/herpes supplying a "ribbed-for-his-pleasure" effect.

If these songs are played on XM 48, I'll be able to pass judgement.

chet - do you have xm/sirius? I had a free trail and really liked it. but i read reviews and it says the customer service really sucks. I just want to get it to listen to the 50s and 60s music channels. What are your impressions?

5 years ago I would have picked Perry in a heartbeat, but she has that weird, blonde Justin Bieber haircut now, and she is letting herself go.

Swift is younger and looks like she got a boob job. Plus, her legs are sexy. She wins in my book.

Regarding their music, they both suck, but Swift can put out an occasionally good song whereas everything by Katy Perry sucks.

I fucking hate Perry's new haircut

What an idiot. She had hot hair. By the time she grows it back she will be old enough to lose interest in.

Very few girls can pull off a boy haircut and look good.

That was her public concession to Swift.

She quit fighting the good fight and just declared herself a hero to lezbos.

Russel Brand cut and run while things were still tight - smart man.

I pay $100/year for it. It's a PITA to have to call up 4-5 days before my year ends and go through the retention bullshit "I like the service, I'm not paying full price though, so if you don't have a special better than last year, I'm cancelling effective immediately."

For me, their R&B isn't as strong as I'd like but it's better than what I can find in Chicago as there's no "morning zoo" type bullshit. I listen to a lot of baseball, including both games and MLB Network Radio. I like having the ESPN Radio national feed so I can catch Dan LeBatard or Bomani Jones if I'm in the car when they are on.

For me, it's worth $8-$9/month. It's probably not worth $15 since I'm out of town about 30% of the time.

ETA: My dad is 84 and only wants to listen to "easy listening" stuff that was on when he came to the US in the mid 1950s. I got him a Samsung tablet, put him on my Spotify account, found a couple of playlists and turned him loose. If all you want is 50s/60s music, that's probably a better choice.

Honest answer: while I hate when dudes make a big show out of appreciating and analyzing disposable pop music, even I have to admit Teenage Dream was loaded with hits. The title track is probably my favorite.

Taylor Swift's songs have only been good when Ryan Adams covers them.

I don't think that's true. Taylor has a lot of good pop songs and she wrote them herself. I don't know who writes Katy Perry's stuff, Dr. Luke and Tricky maybe. Anyway, Pink can actually sing and she's more doable than either of them.

Pink looks like Tyrion Lannister's lost sister, and all of her songs reek of her subsequent inferiority complex, which has resultingly made her militant.

Hot for a smushed-in faced midget, ok, but she's not in any Big Gal's league.
