Growing up in Chicagoland, I would listen to B96 while driving to New Trier High School. Later, I graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism with a degree in broadcasting. It is at Northwestern where I discovered my passion for entertainment news and became head of the Arts and Entertainment Division of Northwestern’s television station. I started as a B96 promotions intern my sophomore year of college and worked my way up to the morning show after interning for Stylz and Roman's night show. With my job, I've had the opportunity to meet loads of celebrities; everyone from Miley Cyrus to Michael Jordan, Kanye West to Jonathan Toews. You may also occasionally see me contributing entertainment scoops on television to ABC’s Windy City Live, CBS, WCIU and more.

And they've been replaced by Drex, one of those 48-year-old gay men who talks like a 19-year-old white girl talking like a 19-year-old black girl. yaaas bitchezzz!

Drex did mornings at Kiss FM through most of the 2000s until he was abruptly replaced for Reasons. I guess it was a big deal when it happened.

I looked him up on youtube and all I found was an Opie & Anthony aircheck from 2006 where they freak out about Phil Rosenthal for 20 minutes and then make fun of how bad and gay Drex is. I don't get it. Even when B96 skewed burrito they still had Eddie & JoBo. This is just Eric and Kathy but the man is Kathy.

How can anybody with New Trier and Northwestern on their resume afford to do terrestrial radio in 2018.

I am not sure why we need "personalities" on FM radio. I listen to station to hear music not people talking.

If they grew up east of Green Bay Road, Daddy made enough money that they don't have to really do too much until he kicks the bucket.
