Tonight is the Beirut show at the Pabst in Milwaukee. Having dinner with the wife beforehand at one of our favorite spots in downtown Milwaukee.
Should be a good show, not sure if we will stay for the entire thing since I don't think they will make the stage until about 9pm and we both have to
work the next day but we'll try to stick it out.

Doesnt matter if it's getting late. There was still 3 months left in 2018 and u should not be starting this thread until January 1.

Stop trying to look for attention.

There’s something oddly contradictory in your last 2 posts.

You have me pegged, I have been nothing but an attention whore on this site for the past 11 years.

I had tickets for a show in 2019 so I started the appropriate thread instead of posting about Pop Evil in the 2018 thread just last month.

I get it now. For some reason it struck me as jumping the gun at first. But I get it now. Mumford announced their tour, tix went on sale in October, and u were excited and wanted to post about it. No problem. And I didn't know this thread existed a the time of the Pop Evil show.

2 questions: Is the Fiserv Forum the same as Bradley Center? Or is it different, new-ass arena?

And is the Mumford show there sold out?

No, it is the new arena. The Bradley Center is a pile of concrete now.

...and God no. The destruction of the Bradley Center is more entertaining than than listening to those guys.

Yeah I got an e-mail from THATH last week about the new album dropping. I'm waiting to hear what the new album sounds like. I have heard a couple of singles from it and they were just ok. Moved away from the folk and are more pop heavy and mainstream radio friendly. I think I would prefer to see them play outside personally, never been a huge fan of the Chicago Theater.

this one will be easier to enjoy. It was blistering cold on their last time through.

But I dont know why they dont play a bigger place. Didn't they learn their lesson? The last one was sold out way in advance. Why not play a 6000 seat place and be done with it? Instead of this overflowing sold out shit.

Both bands were predictably amazing, as I've seen both a few times before.
Most of the YouTube vids really don't do it justice, but it really doesn't get much better than Failure.
I don't know what kind of voodoo their board guy is working, but the sound was absolutely perfect.
It was loud as fuck, but crystal clear. And the girl that was running the lights was a magician.
I spent the first 10 minutes watching her as much as watching the band....she was a total pro.
Swervedriver were a little less polished than I've seen them before, but I think they just don't like playing in Wisconsin,
although I saw them in Madison like 3 years or so ago and it was better.

where the hell did the following for Failure come from? They just had 1 minor hit in the 90s and then disappeared.

most bands in this boat would not be able to tour big places like this.
