It doesn't matter. It's a dump. The sound is dreadful. The layout is terrible. The bar is terrible. Everything about the place is just bad. I hope it's bulldozed to the ground.


It used to be a good venue back in the 80s. It had a nightclub type feel that was different than everywhere else. The sound system at the time was great. The last time I was there was a few years ago when I saw Ian Hunter. The place was pretty rundown.

Yeah. The CEO of my then-employer had a condo across the street. We also owned a livery service, so we would limo in from Rockford and party down.

The sound system and overall sound was great.

No idea. I don't listen to much FM radio. I'd guess on 93.1 playing it at some point. Not sure they're much of a radio band, at least not in the U.S.

Saw Wilco at the Louisville Palace last week. Good show as always. They played 8 of the 11 songs on the new album. It was a pretty rockin' (for them) concert.

Really like the opening act - Deep Sea Diver. I guess the front woman has played with Beck, The Shins, and Spoon and this is her band. I need to look into their catalog a little more.
