I think I generally agree, but I also think it's pretty cool when you're in a football stadium with 80,000 people and you can kinda see a panorama of the audience and how they're reacting. At the same time, I love the Champions League because those are usually weekday night games and the atmosphere is a little more palpable because people came from other countries on a Tuesday night to be there.

Gene went to rehab like a week or two after the Aragon show in 09. They didn't tour for MANY years after that.

I'd actually have to go the other way. I thought the deeper cuts were weaker in the Hagar era. I thought most of the deeper cuts in the Roth era were fantastic. A fairly obscure song like D.O.A. for example is an all-time rocker.

The thing with Roth is he had such a unique style so when you mixed that in with a very unique guitar and unique sounding drums you got this insane sounding band that didn't sound like anyone else. I'm not a Hagar hater or anything that era had its moments too.
