He's a good player, although I haven't listened to them much since college. One of my roommates in college played the shit out of their greatest hits album, to the point of annoyance. I do miss the days when we had more idiosyncratic drummers. The '80s brought about drum machines and producers wanting drummers to sound like machines. They wanted every backbeat on the snare to sound exactly the same throughout the song. Screw that - let the music breath.

It would be tough playing with keys AND horns...that's a lot of instruments sharing the same sonic space.

I like Cetera's voice but I thought Kath was the best singer in the group.
