you know what happened doug? i rapped for all those years, did pretty darn ok, and nobody ever gave me validation, money, or etc. so what did i have to rap for?

then i met a girl who literally and figuratively blew my mind, she became my muse, and then i just went off and taught myself how to write rhymes and now stuff like wear am eye is just next level (for me) compared to what i was doing circa 2006-2012.... and welp, even tho a big part of me thinks the 09/ish stuff was way more pure and better (read: less contrived) than what i can do now.... dude... i just keep breaking out laughing when i rap cuz i mean.... i've got "it" now. i can just snap my fingers and become an instant freestyle rapping machine. the problem is there's no market for that. unless cool rappers wanna hang out and freestyle on a stage sometime.

personally i suggested to aceyalone that he come out here and we pick a street corner in chiraq and just get high as hell and freestyle like our lives depended on it and see who else from the neighborhood wants to join in. start a positivity movement like that, go down to beleaguered areas and show them the power of positive hiphop.
