Thanks for the link. Yeah, from I’ve read he had been working on it for a long, long time prior to it’s release.

Epic music vid adds to its greatness.

The clarity of his vocals is amazing.

You are correct. It was Axls baby since like 1983. That demo version is classic Axl. His voice is amazing there and you can definitely hear the impact of Elton John on his piano playing and his singing. But I am glad they kept working on it and added in the guitar solos. This song would not be nearly as good without Slash going off in one of the greatest solos of all time

Hearing that gives me an appreciation for the song that I've never had before.

If you think Axl Rose was writing and working on that song to be a hair band ballad then you are clearly delusional.

Stick to things you know something about.

To the hipsters on this board hate Nirvana, blow me you fucking d-bags.

Can we add Red Hot Chili Peppers to that? The world would be much better if we never heard anything from these 2 bands again.

and this is so coincidental, my wife and i binged a bunch of 90's videos last night on YouTube.

Just that kind of night I suppose. I'll usually only throw on a few 90s songs when I'm listening to music but ended up putting a few hours worth on last night

Fucker! Me to and 7 came way to early

It would be cool if they had a huge 90's festival that brought all the great alternative bands together for a 3 days festival. Sort of like that Old People Coachella they had a few years back with McCartney, Stones, Neil Young, Dylan. etc...

Yeah it’s probably Semi Charmed Life. There’s better songs but none that encapsulate that decade more
