I thought about throwing Mr. Jones into the other thread. But didn’t.

November Rain is tough to top given only one choice regardless of genre.

I had 100.3 on last Sunday because they were doing a "throwback weekend" or something. I was alarmed that the throwbacks went as recent as "We Found Love" by Rihanna, but hey. Anyway, they played "Show Me the Meaning (of Being Lonely)" and I swear I hadn't thought about that one since it came out. I remember "Larger Than Life" because burned into my memory is the time my friend told my best friend's sister "hey Larger Than Life is about your ass" and the simplicity and cruelty of it stands out to me 21 years later.

I have so many guilty pleasures from 1998-2000 pop music, but you know what, funny thing, no guilty pleasures with the boy bands. Just never appealed to me. But "Blue" by eiffel-65 did. Hm.

I know I've said this before but Boyz II Men had a really good thing going before the dueling boy bands swooped in. "On Bended Knee" and "One Sweet Day" were IN-ES-CAP-AB-LE in '94-'95 and then they just sorta fizzled out. BSB songs never even had the doo-wop bridge where the bass was like
