clearly if you are part of the thing when it's happening, you would feel differently than if you discovered something 5, 10, 15, 20 years later, yes?
Yeah, I can see that. Of the bands I like the most (TV on the Radio, Local H, NIN, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam), I was nowhere near the ground level for their debut. Of those bands, Ten is the only debut that I really think is the best from the band.
