They released their new album today and I'm confused by all the hate. I'm in the middle. Not a huge fan but I like a few of their songs and hope they keep getting better. I'll check out their new album later today.

I'd rather listen to Lez Zeppelin.

I don't have an opinion one way or the other. I think I've maybe heard 2 of their songs.
As far as new-ish bands, (last 10 years or so), I'd highly suggest Japandroids, DIIV, Chris Stapleton just as an appetizer.

I really like Age of Machine and Broken Bells. Not sure about the rest of the album, have to spend more time with it. They're only 24 so they definitely have a chance to take their songwriting to a whole new level.

I like them, but don't have a strong opinion of them. The ripoff comments are pretty well justified. I'd say any positive feelings about them are more of an indictment of the current piss poor state of Rock music and the music industry itself.

I havent heard them in a while but musically they sounded fine. The singer was kind of annoying at times to listen to and just seemed very weird all around. IIRC he was also still a kid so that may explain his weirdness.

I checked out the new stuff. The music is still extremely solid but the singer is fucking awful. A few years of aging has done nothing for him. At first he was compared to Plant but I would now compare him to the minstrel in a movie set in the 1500's. His voice is extremely high and screeching and he can not get into any sort of mid or low range. Imagine Dio as a chipmunk and you have this dickweed.

The lead singer has a good voice but he needs to stop doing that scream where he sounds like he has a bunch of phlegm in his throat.

I think I liked them better when they were called Kingdom Come.

I'm finally getting around to listen to their new album. I really like it.
