Oh, speaking of Tinley Park, I saw the B-52s there. That was actually the worst concert I've ever seen. My apologies to The Church. The The was pretty bad, too.

I'm just saying you could do worse than Kim Basinger. But if it wasnt Kim Basinger I can say the B52s were brutal. Actually with Kim Basinger they were brutal but I could picture doing horrible things to her and it would make it somewhat more tolerable to be listening to the B52s.

Kim Basinger performed with the B52s? I had no idea.

I saw them circa 1990 or 91 on The Cosmic Thing tour. I got tickets because this girl I was dating wanted to see them. But then she couldn't go and I went with my friend Craig instead and he threw up on my shoes.

True story... I just mentioned this thread to my wife and her nutty ass is blasting Rock Lobster as I type this. She's enjoying herself and I'd rather be dead. You came cose to death. Is it worse than listening to the B52s?

An old gf was on the charity board and made me go. It was even boring pre show back stage.

And that wasn't the oddest part.

But I have to admit that I found Rock Lobster hilariously entertaining.

Took my wife to see Barry Manilow about five years ago. Just terrible, but at one point he did joke that all the guys in attendance would be thanking him later.

I went to Q101Twisted Christmas in 2000. Overall The show was good, but the band Orgy couldn't play their instruments live. Man, they sucked.

Modest Mouse at the Congress Theater circa 2005. Could be best and worst. I was right against the stage which was a little shorter than chest height and the entire crowd behind me kept pushing forward the entire night. Thought I was going to be crushed to death.

Also, a girl who must have weighed two bills got crowd surfed on stage and took out a security guard in the process.

The gf thought it was hilarious. Especially when I only knew Puff the Magic Dragon and one (?) other song in the 90 minute show.
