I love that song and “Livin’ Thing” and the latter mainly because it’s perfectly used to the exits in “Boogie Nights”.

I actually prefer “Let It Be…Naked” a thousand times more than the original record.

I’d say The Moody Blues did it better than either. But they weren’t a better band than The Beatles. I like ELO but don’t consider them to be particularly influential.

cannot argue with either point. ELO is a selfish, personal favorite, but wouldn't consider them ground-breaking. Jeff Lynne was pretty much a Beatles disciple who was a great song-writer.

Moody Blues is firmly in the underrated camp. Days of Future Passed took orchestration to a different level. The orchestration was an equal part of the band as opposed to a supplement.
