BSSM was solid although a sellout album. I actually love the album “By the Way” but it is surely far from popular. Chili Peppers don’t suck but they are basically The Doors if Morrison didn’t die. An interesting frontman man that wasn’t that good. I still love Frusciante, but I can’t stand mot of the RHCP so I understand the vitriol.

Your beef Is with Anthony which anyone can understand but Chad and John are good musicians. Apache Peacock Rose which is a long long long way from being a good song is totally fun because they are jamming on it.

BSSM is a masterpiece. They've had a handful of good songs since then, but as mentioned already...90% of it's complete shit.
Good musicians don't always translate to good songs. No one ever would doubt the talent of Fruciante, Smith, and Flea but most of their songs since 1993 are flat out horrible.
