Albini's take on Lange's work applies from about For Those About to Rock / Pyromania / Heartbeat City and especially Hysteria, where Lange goes completely off the reservation into pablum pop nonsense.

But the 2 AC/DC albums Lange did before For Those, Back in Black and Bon Scott's last album Highway + earlier blues-garage-sorta-punk albums from The Boomtown Rats/The Rumour/The Motors et al don't have the plastic pop sheen of his descent into producing Shania Twain/Billy Ocean/Michael Bolton/Bryan Adams later shite albums, Maroon 5 and even Nickelback crap ffs. Def Leppard's High-n-Dry retained some gritty blues rock feel their later records completely abandon. Foreigner 4's in there on the cusp.
