Here's a Rick Beato YouTube vid on using AI to create music that sounds like the real artist. It's about 15 minutes long and quite interesting.

Generative music was always the dream of Brian Eno. Think industrial-scale wind chimes, basically.

Why do we need AI when we already have Dave Grohl?

I think I heard them try this with a Nirvana song a few years ago and it was awful.

To free him up from songwriting so he can attend every awards show on the planet.

I didn't hate him, but found Foo Fighters highly over-rated. Not terrible, but HIGHLY overrated. Since the Taylor Hawkins death and the weird manner in which that was handled, hushed, and commercialized....I know hate him.

and your AI comment on Dave Grohl is accurate

Somehow, he was popular with women in their 30s and 40s. I taught with chicks at different schools who had little freak-outs after he died.

and yet somehow, Dave Grohl was able to overcome his grief and carry on with a new drummer.
Such a fucking fraud.

I want to say that he was Alannis Morisette's drummer...

actually I want nothing to do with that statement, but it may help nip this thread in the bud, so to speak

That being said, I just encountered some AI tech that's invasive to the world of video editing, via Adobe Premiere...and, Holy Shit...things are going to change rather quickly
