They played the last day of August at a state fair in Ohio. I happened to catch a video on Youtube and thought it was fantastic. When older singers usually lose their force and range, like Plant, Coverdale, Jagger, etc., Dennis DeYoung sounds as strong as ever. In fact, he seems to put his heart into the version of Lady more than I've ever heard him. His singing is very nuanced.

I'm not usually someone who is impressed by musicianship but Styx really impressed me that they still got it after all these years. How many people here grew up on Mr. Roboto?

Lady starts around 15:00. What's great about the recording is that you can hear the harmonies.

It would be even more impressive if Dennis DeYoung was the singer.

You are either the dumbest motherfucker the world has ever known or the most brilliant troll on the planet.

Dennis DeYoung isn't in that video, and he hasn't performed with Styx in over two decades.

Todd Sucherman is a helluva drummer, though.

DeYoung like most secret Canadians is also secretly gay and left Styx pursue his dream of being a Broadway star.

DeYoung is an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox and personal friend of former manager, Hall-of-Famer Tony LaRussa

You think Styx, Stevie Nicks, and Bill Hicks ever went on tour together? Could have made for some great tshirts
