I know, I know--what's your favorite Beatles song?

I already saw the Babylon Bee joke about how this "punk band" tells you to stay the course of the Democratic Party. Maybe some of that rings true with some of their lyrics.

But were Green Day known for their lyrics?

Actually some of their lyrics on their closer, "Fancy Sauce", mentions "cultists" but also says "everybody's famous" and "everyone's a victim".

ultimately, the album is one catchy riffy tune after another that hasn't been seen since "Insomniac". I loved it. I can't afford to see them do the live tour (sad i can't see the Linda Lindas live) but I absolutely love this record. Highlights include "Bobby Sox", "One Eyed Jack", "1981", "Dilemma", "Saviors", and "Coma City".

:D :D :D :D out of :D :D :D :D

From that article:
Quote:
"Nothing captures the spirit of punk rock like unquestioningly obeying the government," said the band's guitarist and lead vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong. "We want a new generation of music fans to show their individuality, be whoever they want to be, and strictly adhere to the narrative fed to them by people in positions of power."

The band was expected to make an announcement for dates and cities for their upcoming "Stay in School and Follow the Rules" 2024 concert tour in the coming weeks.
