They've been playing stuff from that on Pearl Jam radio for the last couple of weeks. It's not bad, but with all of the commercial bootlegs out there, this just seems a little much.

I see it as more of a cash grab for the more average fan not aware of all the
bootlegs out there. They're really trying to milk this 20th anniversary for all it's
worth it seems. Probably a pretty good disc if they took 18 of the best tracks
from 6 or 7 years of tours. I found that Sirius station as well and listened to it
for a little while when working around the house. kind of cool if you are in the
mood for a little PJ.

Pearl Jam officially jumped the shark the day they became bff's with Neil Young. Everything they did from that moment on was pure garbage thanks to hanging out and being influenced by taht overrated hack.

Pearl Jam fucking sucks. If Eddie Vedor would've blown his brains out instead of Cobain the world would be a much better place.

Shakes bringing the fire!

The whole Live on 10 Legs is a joke. 95% of their shows during that era were official releases. I'll get excited when they break into the 1993-1995 vault a little more. Color me excited to see what comes of the Vs. and Vitalogy re-releases.

That song Eddie Veddar wrote for Len Kasper last season was pretty sweet.

Dempster and Vedder are probably cool. The other 2, keep 'em. The Ligues can share a cell next time Chelios decides to drinky drive.

Since this is Pearl Jam's 20th anniversary year, they are doing some sort of festival to celebrate such in either summer or fall. Strong rumors are suggesting Alpine Valley as the location. That would be terrific.

They can call that place Verizon Wireless, but it will always be Deer Creek to me.

By the way, SiriusXM has a Pearl Jam channel. On Sirius it is 17, not sure about XM.

Thanks to Doug for reminding me! I knew this was coming up at some point, but didn't know the exact date;

Edit; 9PM, not 9am

Thanks Franky. I read about this early in the week and it slipped my mind. I'll have to
search for it when I get home. I have heard it is good. I bought the soundtrack and it
was pretty good.

This will be getting the DVR treatment for sure. I have a feeling it'll be available via torrent at some point as well.

Daughter, Alive, you'd likely remember one called Jeremy which was killed by popular radio.

You know, maybe if I heard something I'm sure I would do a "Oh yeah, that's them" sort of thing. Just can't name a single song off the top of my head...

Back when MTV played videos they played this one almost every hour for a while.
Probably their most commercially popular song in the early 90s. Might depend on how
old you were back in 1993 or 94. They have a number of other ones you may have heard.

Ok. I've heard that one before. Had to wait for the hook before I recognized it...

This was a pretty cool documentary. I wish they got into what gear they used a little bit, but I guess it was more biographical than anything. My favorite part is when Crowe is at Stone's house asking him if he keeps any PJ momentos or anything. He has some DVDs and a coffee mug, then he looks in the basement and something is tucked away in the corner. Stone goes, "Oh, look. There's a Grammy!"

I like PJ. Been to several shows throughout my years....

This doc made them look bad, IMO. What a bunch of posers. Waaah, everything is gloom and doom, I hate the spotlight - hey keep that camera on me when I'm talking! I wanna be anonymous - yet play football stadiums and sell millions of records and show up to every single award show that is on broadcast TV.

Just shutup and play rock music. Poser. I'm gonna make millions and just happen to keep a grammy in the basement - next to all my equipment that is set up for the doc. Way too contrived.

I thought it was great Spanks. It didn't make them look anything...that's how they were. Oh how I miss the brooding 90s.
