That's a hilarious and completely baseless assumption.

I have a single in section 533, row 2. Face was $88. I'll take $80. PM if you want it.

Cubs or not its really a terrible song. Same thing with Let Me Sleep and to a lesser extent Bee Girl.

Having seem PJ 11 times (tonite will be 12), hearing Even Flow at 90% of their shows is great because its the "Pearl Jam veteran pee song"

Ticket sold. And I definitely took a piss break during Even Flow. Too bad I ended up missing half of Light Years.

Remember when Eddie was wearing a Sox hat on SNL?

I think he wore it on Unplugged as well.

I remember him wearing the White Sox hat. He and Jack McDowell were friends, weren't they?

JORR would never wear a Cubs' hat on stage.

Honestly thought Breath was going to be played tonight. Even without it, this was still the best show I've seen from them out of the six I've been to. '95 Soldier Field might have been better. Dennis Rodman was a thing; though, a little disappointed he didn't come out with Kim Jung Un. Also good to see Killer V, Frank, Boyd and meet redskingreg.

Great setlist, look forward to catching the YouTube video. Would have liked to see Footsteps, Off He Goes and Blood especially.
They don't play those all that often.

Awesome two nights. Way too many highlights to narrow it down. Last night felt like it had more energy than Saturday. Rolled into bed around 12:45. In the office by 6:15. Think I slept all of three hours, thanks to the little guy. Nice to meet Boyd and CLH. And nice of Frank to choose Old Crow :drunken:

Post subject:  Re: Pearl Jam

I definitely agree about last night having more energy, both from the crowd and the band.

I don't remember Eddie reading letters and such in previous shows, never mind the fact that you can't understand what he's saying. I know the fanbase is getting old and all, but all of us have our problems and he's going to need to take an entire 3 hours to read them all.

"We just wanted to throw a shout out to John. John has rectal cancer, which is kind of shitty if you think about it. On here he said some people thought he was a real pain in the ass, but he loves Pearl Jam and all he really wanted to hear at the show today was Aye Davanita. So we are going to play Light Years instead."

Part of it is Eddie mumbling, and part of it is that baseball stadiums are not set up for concert acoustics.

-I left at the start of Ledbetter, but stood outside to hear I've Got A Feeling.
-I had forgotten about I am Mine, such a good quick song
-10 Club really hooked it up again. Aisle 6 first row, the bullpen mound was right in front of us
-Rodman coming out was awesome
-With the opener of 'Oceans,' I have now heard then play the entire 'Ten' record at some point. Actually except for Garden they played that entire album over the 2 shows
-The red lights for Blood really gives the stage a chilling effect. The strobes during RVM are also great
-If I never hear 'All The Way' again, it will be too soon

What a great show...thanks again Frank for the extra ticket. Great to meet you too, Greg...good to see the Hoffys and Killer V as well. Old Crow was pretty damn good, especially after they stopped playing that pop country shit.

Got home around 1 after a quick Taco Bell stop. Wife was still up with the baby...got about a grand total of 2 hours of sleep before my older daughter decided it was time to get up.

Of the 69 songs they played over the two shows, 16 of them I had never seen them do live and 9 I had only seen once until this past weekend. It was a pretty amazing couple of days, way better than the back to back shows I saw in '06 and '09. The only previous show I attended that could even come close to these was Alpine Valley 2003. Missoula 2005 I was first row so that was pretty special in its own way.

I assumed it was real. Eddie kicked out fans many times before. Probably made for the longest version of Lukin ever.

Post subject:  Re: Pearl Jam

It probably was. I had never been to a show where he had done that, but I have heard MANY 'bootlegs' where he has done that. Since Roskilde where 9 people died in a stampede when they were playing, they are very conscious of moshing and roughhousing in the GA pit. For a while, they did not play any shows where there was GA.

Most of the people who don't care for Pearl Jam can respect the fact that they're pretty good song writers.
