i was closing in on 13. but i admit, i didn't discover soundgarden until "superunknown". my parents did not let me watch MTV growing up.

the "rock band" i had to put up with? PETRA.

that's what i get for going to a private christian school in the early 90's. that and carman.

i had to secretly find metallica, nirvana, and pearl jam until 1993 came along.

Petra was my first concert.
I was 7 or 8.

hahahah, i never saw them in concert...i wasn't allowed to go to concerts until like, late in high school. my first show was dylan in '93 with my dad and sister. first time i ever smelled pot.
