I mean really no Wu album comes close to this...well maybe 36 Chambers but that's it

I think the original Only Built 4 Cuban Linx is even better than 36 Chambers as a Wu album. Wu Tang Forever might even be better. To me, 36 Chambers really hasn't aged well.

I agree about 36 Chambers. I don't like it as much as I used to. It hasn't aged well at all. OB4CL on the other hand can pretty much hold its own against anything thats come out since then. Way ahead of it's time imo

36 Chambers, to me, still rocks. Its so raw. The Beats are so simple but so good. Also its the one album that ODB spits fire on. I guess Im a little biased. Obviously Forever holds up better. The production is so much more advanced.

But as far as solo albums as Wu Albums...

Supreme Clientele-Redman Raekwon Method Gza Rza all kill it on Supereme
OB4CL-Pretty much IS a Wu Album. Ghost on 14 songs. Deck Kills Gza Meth Rza
Liquid Swords-To me everyone is utilized perfectly on this one
Iron Man-Raekwon almost steals this album. Meth Cappa and Masta are solid
No Said Date-Ghost Gza Raekwon Deck DO steal this album

Very Good. Very old school-y. U God actually kills it on this one.
Sadat X's verse on Sound the horns is awesome too.

Ive been listening to the Cuban Linx 2 songs...Flying Daggers is awesome. Criminology 2, which isnt gonna be on it, is nostalgiacally delightful.

^I've heard a few of the OB4CL II. I haven't heard Criminology pt 2 yet. I really liked New Wu. Sounds like a lost track from OB4CL or Liquid Swords

yeah, that song is good, they renamed it. It was Wu Ooh. The video was longer and included the entire clan.

Criminology 2 isnt on the album...its basically the same beat but rae goes first with new lyrics...it ll make a nice b side.

Check this song ...House of Flying Daggers-Raekwon feat. INS, Method Man, Ghostface and J Dilla

J Dilla- Jay Stay Paid
Mayer Hawthorne- Strange Arrangement

vinyl arrived yesterday, sounding REALLY good, all I had of these 2 were crappy mp3's

If you haven't heard the Mayer Hawthorne, I HIGHLY recommend it, it's white boy soul but sounding very good.

I'm a HUGE (closet) 311 fan.

I'm surprised you're a fan of them though, Doug.

Listening to a little Atmosphere right now, in particular F*@k You Lucy,

I recommend there album God Loves Ugly if anyone hasn't heard it yet. I'm sure a few of the peeps around here would like this group.

why is that? i've seen them 4 times going back to the blue album.
...in the rain at summerfest in 05 was my favorite. as good as music is, transistor is my favorite album.

if the riffs rock with crunchy distortion, there are guitar solos, and the lyrics are good, i probably like it.
