Chris can still sing and really other than Matt Cameron on drums, I thought they were just okay muscially in the later years. Early stuff is still a great listen. Im excited. Speaking of Cameron, wonder if he is leaving Pearl Jam?

Maybe it's the alcohol and resin, but I dont get it. That video is from pre-Badmoto days. Are they gonna tour? And Soundagrden played a gig in Seattle last year with Tad Doyle on vocals and they were talking crazy shit about Cornell. Maybe the economy fucked him because I think he didn't wanna do it.

Pearl Jam already has some European dates scheduled this summer. Cameron is thier longest tenured drummer (12 years now!) so it will be interesting to see what happens. I'd see this show.

Interesting.... haven't seen Soundgarden in about 15 years. Would love to see a
Temple of The Dog reunion for an album or a few cuts but that will most likely never
come to fruition.

I hate these reunions. They are usually bad and overpriced. I'll pay $15 to watch a DVD of an old live performance over the inevitable $150+ tickets to a bad performance.

$150 tix for Soundgarden is unlikely. $55 tix are more like it. that seems to be the standard nowadays with fees and shit.
I'd pay a good amount to see Faith No More though.

What's the deal with Chris Cornell?

I think he's got a helluva set of lungs, and he was awesome in SINGLES - but is the guy kind of a master of douche baggery?

Also, the guitarist Kim Thayil.... I'm telling you I was at a kegger party back around the summer of '81 (right across the street from Green Garden Country Club a couple miles south of Frankfort and a several miles southwest of Richton Park) and that MFer was there. Call me nuts, but I never forget a face, and that cat has got a distinctive looking face (and stringy ass hair). I believe a Zeppelin tribute band (No Quarter) was playing. He wasn't in the band, but he was a 'hanger on'.

So I guess Cornell taking over in velvet revolver is dead. Soungarden was good, but a bit overrated IMHO. Got to see Faith No More in concert once, was not looking forward to it, but was impressed.
